Sources say Terrell Owens had ACL surgery on one of his knees this past month. Owens the 37 year old Wide Receiver completed his 15th year with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010. Owens apparently hurt his knee while filming The T.O. Show, according to sources from ESPN. Look for middle to later part of November as the earliest time before Owens is able to return. Owens trails only Jerry Rice on the all-time NFL receiving yards, and touchdown reception list.
Owens was unavailable for comment on the reported injury. Owens was a free agent who was looking to sign with possible teams going into his 16th year. Owens has been known for being a quick healer when dealing with serious injuries. Don't count Owens out, as he'll look to prove his doubters wrong after suffering his latest setback.
